You Broke the Environment
The earth's health is an important issue for fashionistas and politicians alike. You can imagine what months of torrential rains, hurricanes and flash floods would do to a nice pair of shoes! Did you know that sexy people are five times as likely to help the environment as ugly people? It's true, green is sexy and people like Kirsten Dunst, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and Harrison Ford are bringing awareness to issues like global warming and renewable energy. In fact if it wasn't for hot celebs we would probably be doomed.
So what can a young, attractive, fashionable individual do to best enjoy this fabulous globally green trend? When shopping keep an eye open for organic fabrics which feel great and don't use pesticides. Things like vegetable dyes and hip uses of recycled materials are also environmentally cool. Clothing made locally in the USA is better then imports although it may cost a little more. Don't throw away your old clothes; exchange them with friends, donate them to charity or dump them on misfit art school students.
Forget about ugly plastic grocery bags and get some re-useable canvas totes. Always accessorize with a long french bread - you really shouldn't eat all those carbs so I just carry the same one around for a month until it starts decomposing. To support companies with green policies and local suppliers I always have my personal assistant buy my veggies at the organic farmers market. It's pretty far from the office but I insist she ride a bike to save gas so I'm saving the environment even while I wait in the hot tub.
The destruction of our planet is a global issue that will take many actors, rock stars, models and clever reality show contestants to solve. In the mean time we can only do our best to look good and co-ordinate with the unpredictable shifts from arctic faux fur to tropical beachwear. Remember, there is still no excuse for wearing Crocs!
